One of the most important trends affecting the digital marketplace is the potent combination of dropping costs and improving quality for just about everything. For instance, in the projector market last year, the absolute lowest-priced projector on the market ran between $4,000 and $5,000, for which you were lucky to get more than 500 lumens. This year, $5,000 will buy almost twice as many lumens and the cheapest projectors are dipping into the $2,000 to $3,000 range.
