To provide helpful tips and ongoing motivation, RE/MAX University (RU) created the “Race to Recruit” program. This six-week, live training program was built around an auto race theme and offered incentives for top performers.

The reason so many of our attempts at improving ourselves fizzle is that we sabotage ourselves. Positive Intelligence is a measure of the percentage of time your mind is serving as opposed to sabotaging you. Unless your Positive Intelligence meets a critical threshold value, your self-sabotage will more than negate your attempts at self-improvement.

As a result, the company implemented a culture-change initiative that brought the Core Sales Leadership team (190 managers) together to focus on three areas: Modeling-the-Way (CEO-defined expectations and values), Crucial Conversations (interpersonal communication), and Performance Management (setting expectations, inspecting, and responding).

For generations, games have been used to teach concepts, skills, and knowledge. Think Yahtzee, Monopoly, and math; Scrabble and spelling; Mastermind, Qwirkle, and strategy; Clue and problem solving…the list goes on and on.

Games are challenging, interesting, and engaging. And with the ever-enhancing technology landscape, games are more immersive than ever. Individual or massive multiplayer online games have grown exponentially in the last few years, and projections only show gaming consumption increasing.

J.B. Hunt has a safety initiative called 15 + 7 Saves Lives firmly ingrained in what the company calls its “safety culture.” The motoring public expects trucking companies to employ safe drivers. The 15 + 7 Saves Lives program was designed to encourage drivers to focus on the space around their vehicle and possess an awareness of their surroundings at all times.
