Enounce Launches Video Playback App That Provides Time Savings June 24, 2009
What if you are trying to learn a new language or participate in a training exercise online and need to slow a video down to take notes and learn?
Enounce MySpeed software allows users to change the playback speed of the video while maintaining natural sounding audio. You can also watch more videos in less time by speeding playback up to five times. Slowing down a video allows users to better understand foreign languages and transcribe complex instructional materials. Last month, Comscore reported that in the U.S. alone, Americans were viewing more than 17 billion monthly streams. This represents about a 16 percent increase over November 2008. YouTube accounts for 49 percent of the gain with 5.9 billion videos viewed with the average user watching 96 videos over a one month period.
