• GAB Robins North America, Inc., a provider of global risk management services, appointed Paula Mayers Styles director of learning and organizational development for North American operations.
• Avanta, a UK-based work-focused training and enterprise company, appointed Stuart Walkley non-executive director.
• inVentiv Communications, a division of inVentiv Health, appointed two new members to its company. Scott Neverett was named human resources recruiter, and will be based in the Saratoga Springs office. Young Sprouts was named financial reporting manager, working out of the Columbus office.
• EmploymentGroup, a staffing and outsourced services firm, hired marketing veteran Julie Johnston as director of marketing. She will direct EmploymentGroup's marketing and public relations efforts across 17 offices in three states.
• onTargetjobs, a niche Internet job board company, appointed Michael J. "Mike" Tansey CEO. Prior to onTargetjobs, Tansey was CEO of Jobson Medical Information, a diversified medical information business.
