Survey Success
March 19, 2008
By Margery Weinstein

Finding out what your employees think of your training offerings, and the company at large, is useful information—if you can obtain it accurately. To point you in the right direction, Inquisite, a self-described human insight software company, issued a report on the features most in demand for enterprise-level survey software based on its own survey of more than 250 executive decision-makers:

• Auto-invites: 82 percent are interested in a survey tool's ability to automatically invite individuals to participate by integrating with existing business applications.

• Dynamic pre- and post-data population: 82 percent want the ability to pull information from existing databases into a survey and push information updated in the survey back into that database.

• Custom reports generation: 79 percent want a tool to generate custom reports that configure data that maps to various specific organizational requirements.

• Actionable alerts/notifications: 75 percent desire a survey solution to set up e-mail alerts based on response information triggers.

• Reports distribution and automation: 75 percent want automatically generating reports and the ability to direct data to appropriate individuals or teams.
