• Newtown, PA-based Z University, an intern management tool provider, released The Blueprint for Internship Success, an instructional DVD that shows employers how to develop high-performance internship programs, and teaches managers the best ways to supervise students, fully utilize their talents, and develop workplace skills.
• The Learning Key in Washington Crossing, PA, released PHARM Game 2, an educational board game for the pharmaceutical industry. Questions are asked about subjects related to the drug development process, with game cards linked to specific topics on the playing board by color. The original PHARM game also is still available.
• Omega Performance, a Charlotte, NC-based provider of leadership development products for the financial services sector, released Leadership Solutions, the first component of which is the company's suite of assessments and executive sessions for change management, "Leading Through Change."
• The Professional Convention Management Association launched Live Learning Center, an online learning management system designed to make education more accessible to the meetings industry. The online portal is available at www.pcma.org.
• Mahwah, NJ-based Sharp Electronics Corporation expanded its Notevision series of projectors with new models, including the XR-40X, XR-30X, and XR-30S. They feature high brightness, Texas Instrument DLP technology, and TrueVision image processing.
• Brainvisa, a Baner, Pune, India-based provider of learning solutions, launched the beta version of RapideL Discover 1.0. The technology enables the rapid creation of complex e-learning from Microsoft Word, and provides support for building branching courses.
