The Hyatt Regency Monterey has announced the completion of its new in-house Regency Club. The only one of its kind on the Monterey Peninsula, the Regency Club will take superior service and state-of-the-art amenities to new heights—enhancing the experience of incentive travelers. Part of the $55 million in renovations the hotel began last year, this relaxing respite blends high-tech convenience with sophisticated elegance.
"The new Regency Club is a space that truly reflects the natural beauty and serenity of the Monterey Peninsula," notes Mark Bastis, general manager of the Hyatt Regency Monterey. "Available as a luxury upgrade with all of our guest rooms or suites, the Club is a sophisticated, comfortable environment for our leisure guests or business travelers seeking convenience and a high level of service."
The Regency Club lounge boasts contemporary design with calming earth tones and warm natural materials and is tucked away in an alcove for maximum privacy. The upgrade comes complete with complimentary refreshments, continental breakfast, midday snacks, personalized concierge service, and private check-in desk for quick and easy arrivals and departures.
High-tech amenities include 20-inch flatscreen Sony Vaio computers with high-speed Internet access and printing capabilities; lounge chairs with swivel-top oval granite tabletops wired with Internet access; and a 42-inch plasma television. Additionally, the lounge features complimentary newspapers, a well-stocked library of classic novels and high-profile magazines.
