Opening this May is Cavallo Point–The Lodge at the Golden Gate in the San Francisco Bay area. The environmentally sustainable and art-imbued lodge set within Golden Gate National Parks will be San Francisco Bay's first national park lodge. Cavallo Point guests will have access to a range of activities and experiences on over 80,000 acres of surrounding open space, and have their pick from 68 historic rooms or 74 modern-style rooms. The two choices of accommodations are a century apart in character and style. Set to open in July 2008 is the Mandarin Oriental, Boston. The exotically beautiful 148-room, 12-suite luxury hotel will feature 10,000 square feet of versatile function space, a 16,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, signature restaurant Asana and M-Bar & Lounge.
