Spotlight on Dyson September 25, 2008 Cutting-edge home products company is cleaning up incentive industry
By Jeanie Casison
Since entering the corporate incentive marketplace a few years ago, Dyson continues to capture interest with high-tech home products that resonate as rewards. This year, the Chicago-based company was honored with the Golden Carrot Award, presented by Hinda Incentives at The Motivation Show. They received it for product innovation, reliability and customer satisfaction.
"As a technology company, we pride ourselves on never standing still and continuing to improve our products and develop new and exciting ideas," says David Hollander, president of Dyson Inc. "Watching the buzz and increased interest of Dyson machines spread across incentive programs has been a reward in itself. It shows us that people understand our technology and the benefits of owning products that actually work better."
Dyson products such as the Dyson Ball machines, DC24 and DC25, are experiencing tremendous success in employee programs that target years of service, recognition and sales performance. And, quality certainly plays a role in the demand for Dyson. "Using our patented cyclonic technology, Dyson machines work fundamentally differently than other vacuums," says Hollander. "Americans demand better products across all categories; this is true for rewards programs as much as personal purchases."
