Nike Golf Swooshes Into Gift Card Market April 10, 2008 Program provides access to entire corporate catalog

Getting the gear for the next tee time just got a whole lot easier with the launch of the Nike Golf Gift Card. The new award and gift solution, offered by Beaverton, Oregon-based Nike Golf, provides a convenient complement to any corporate or charity tournament, gift program and employee incentive or recognition initiative.
Apparel, golf balls, clubs and accessories are among the items in the Nike Golf Corporate Catalog available for redemption by recipients of the Nike Golf Gift Card. Corporate co-branding options, fulfillment, customer support services and the option to create individual redemption sites, give customers an all-encompassing solution.
"Essentially when it comes to events and company outings, people want to have as many options possible when they give away gifts. There might be a planning committee that picks out a bag one year or a T-shirt the next. But they are always trying to pick something new and different," says Justin Morrison, business development manager for Nike Golf. "The Nike Golf Gift Card is the best solution because it allows recipients to choose what they need whether it’s 12 golf balls or a new driver."
While the Nike Golf Gift Card is new to the market, Morrison anticipates it will be a popular feature in sales contests and as a thank you gift for businesses. The card is not available at retail.
