Incentive Solutions: Unified Rewards October 19, 2007

Client: A large regional chain of Retail stores that sells home audio, video, entertainment and electronic products.
Objective: To keep the rapidly growing employee base engaged and to reward them for a variety of performance initiatives.
Challenge: To consolidate three existing programs and new initiatives into a single platform accessible to all employees.
Solution: Using an eChoice Levels solution they were able produce a single incentive program that offered awards in over 20 different performance categories. Each time an employee was recognized for a performance initiative they were presented with a letter of congratulations from the president of the company, along with an online award redemption code. Accessing the online award catalog from the company's intranet site, employees selected their award from hundreds of products in specific award levels. The value of each award level was pre-selected by the client.
Results: Using this unified platform the comapny was able to achieve all of the stated goals of the program: engage and reward employees, offer awards that motivate performance and create an award Web site that was easy to understand and navigate. The result was a dramatic reduction in workload for our customer's internal staff and a dramatic increase in satisfaction among the participating employees. The client also experienced a 14 percent reduction in turnover during the three years that the program has been in place.
