Survey Says: Return On Recruiting
November 28, 2006
By A. E. Smith

Finding talented employees is a major concern for HR professionals, but many are concerned about the effectiveness of their current recruiting efforts, according to a recent study. Among 150 HR executives surveyed by Waltham, Mass.–based talent management company Authoria, 67 percent report that they are dissatisfied with their current recruitment evaluation process, and 60 percent indicate that the problem stems from ineffective collaboration between hiring managers and recruiters. Of those who do have a timeline for changing their system, 82 percent expect to improve effectiveness over the next year.
