- Philip A. Odeen was elected non-executive chairman of Convergys Corporation's board of directors. Odeen, who replaces James F. Orr, was previously non-executive chairman of AVAYA, and former chairman of Reynolds & Reynolds.

- Signature Worldwide named Carlos Aldan director of international development. In this newly created position, Aldan will oversee the company's international expansion.

- Simon Brimblecombe joined Hewitt Associates' International Retirement team. He will be based in Hewitt's Geneva office, and will lead the company's international practice in Switzerland.

- Ray Villareal joined SumTotal Systems as senior vice president of field operations. Villareal, most recently vice president of field operations and marketing for WebEx Communications, will be responsible for all customer-facing activities.

- The National Academy of Human Resources installed its 16th class of Fellows: Sidney C. Banwart, vice president, human services division, Caterpillar Inc.; Jerome N. Carter, senior vice president, human resources and communications, International Paper; Hallstein Moerk, executive vice president, human resources, Nokia Inc.; Johanna G.
