>> Video communications designers now can benefit from the new VCE6467 Video Communications Engine from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) and RADVISION's Technology Business Unit (TBU). It enables a variety of two-way, live HD video communications applications, including video conferencing, telemedicine, digital signage, and set-top boxes. This integrated video communications solution (pre-installed software on a video processor chip) reduces software integration time by more than 10 times the number of man hours normally required. 

>> Plateau Systems, a provider of enterprise-class SaaS solutions for talent management, expanded its iContent solution to include content authoring and publishing capabilities. Under the terms of a renewed agreement with Trivantis Corporation, a provider of e-learning software for authoring and content creation, Plateau will bundle Trivantis' integrated content authoring tool, Lectora Online, with Plateau's iContent Contentas-a-Service (CaaS) offering to provide customers with an easy way to create and publish content directly to iContent. 

>> UBM Studios announced the Social Business Suite, a complete social media and business games suite integrated into its virtual event platform. The suite helps organizations connect their customers and remote employees. Key functionality includes: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and chat; the ability to invite multiple people to a text or video-based private chat; updating a Facebook wall with event-related discussions; viewing existing connections on LinkedIn to drive peer-to-peer networking; and increasing peer-to-peer engagement with game widgets that can be customized with the company's brand and messages.
