Productivity Coach's Corner - July 2010

To solidify your intent and keep your mind open to resources that facilitate productivity, take time every six months to consider the direction you're headed in, review recent accomplishments, and anticipate upcoming milestones. Think ahead to the next six to 12 months and do much more than just chip away at the busy-ness of daily life. Some tips:

>> Add an "all-day event" to your calendar 180 days from today. List your projects and what progress you anticipate having made by that time. When you get there, evaluate how your intention and actions met.

>> Every day for the next three days, write out one significant accomplishment for that day. At the end of the three days, study the progress you're making in the short term.

>> Keep a running inventory of the resources you need (information, tools, structured time, etc.) and review them weekly. Plan to maximize just ONE of those resources.
