PSAV Presentation Services recently signed a multi-year agreement with LXR Luxury Resorts

PSAV Presentation Services (www.ps-av.com) recently signed a multi-year agreement with LXR Luxury Resorts (www.LuxuryResorts.com). PSAV will be the exclusive on-site presentation service provider of all conference audiovisual support and technology for all of LXR's properties throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. As per a news release, PSAV Presentation Services will provide each resort with a customized level of service, consistent in each property to help enhance the experience of meeting planners and attendees. Each hotel's conference areas will have video and large format projection capabilities, audio reinforcement, staging, lighting, telecommunications support and high-speed Internet, the release also stated.


New Interactive Projector System from Luminvision Ltd.

Luminvision Ltd. (www.luminvision.co.uk), producer of interactive floor projection systems, launched its latest product, the ADVIS Interactive Projection System. The software and hardware package included allows computers and projectors to project onto virtually any wall or floor. The audience also has the ability to interact with whatever is projected. The size of the interactive space is only limited by the projector, and can even link multiple systems together to make larger projections.



Palm-sized Mobile Projector Released

Toshiba's Irvine, CA-based Digital Products Division released its 1-pound TDP-FF1AU DLP(R) palm-sized mobile projector. The TDP-FF1AU is one of the lightest and smallest projectors on the market as well as the company's first battery-powered portable projection solution. It can project an 11- to 68-inch diagonal image and comes with a foldable 23-inch diagonal display screen, rechargeable battery, battery charger and carrying case. The TDP-FF1AU features 400 Lux of brightness with SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. The projector has an estimated single unit price of $699.
