Lane Gorman Trubitt
Despite being a small company with a workforce of just 110, Lane Gorman Trubitt (ranked 85) adopts big-company learning strategies like a mentoring program, which was introduced in 2001 for all employees who have been with the company for less than a year. Mentors are selected from the accounting firm's supervisors and trained in basic mentoring skills to assist their proteges with career and personal development and help them acclimate to the corporate culture. Lane Gorman Trubitt plans to extend the mentoring program to all levels within the corporation this year.
