Orem, Utah-based training course developer Makau Corporation, has released an instructional course on Macromedia Flash MX 2004 featuring David Humes.
The Macromedia Flash MX professional course focuses on efficiency in creating interactive, content-rich video, graphics and animation for unique, engaging websites, presentations and mobile content. Special attention is given to the Flash animation designer, which requires less programming by unitizing a robust video-import wizard.
According to Branden Black, Makau's chief technology officer, as an e-learning provider that uses Flash extensively, Makau showed special interest developing this course for its customers. It's a doubly powerful teaching tool when students not only learn about Flash tools, but get to see Flash at its best in Makau's learning interface and quizzes.
"Although David Humes' knowledge and instruction are excellent, our Flash course wasn't just produced by a single expert," Black says. "During development it was reviewed and worked over by a whole team of Flash experts. After all, Flash is what we do. Our course itself is a tribute to the power of the Flash toolset and what you can accomplish when you really know how to use it."
Web development expert, David Humes is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop and an expert in Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, web design, print design, Adobe InDesign, and QuarkXPress. Since 1988, he has been involved in desktop publishing and computer graphics.
Makau's four-level Macromedia Flash MX 2004 training course is available on disk or online for $189. It is also available as part of the Makau Learning Appliance, a learning management system and library loaded on a server that resides behind an organization's firewall.
