de Grandpré Communications Centre Montreal, Quebec

Built for multimedia presentations, videoconferencing, distance learning and telemedicine procedures, the de Grandpré Communications Centre is a 1,860-square-foot room with seating for 67. The room's display and multimedia equipment is controlled with a Crestron room-control system, and every other seat is equipped with a microphone and computer interface. Full videoconferencing and audioconferencing capabilities connect the facility to off-site locations, and all the necessary presentation technology — projector, plasma display, document camera, overhead projector, electronic whiteboard — are on hand. For small-group sessions, a conference table provides seating for six in the center of the room, and an adjoining meeting room is also available.
