Compose, reply, comply

Industries that face tough regulations when it comes to safe and secure e-mail may have found a partner in Open Text's updated software. The Chicago-based provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software recently unveiled its suite expansion, complete with new compliance features that will not only help customers in sensitive sectors such as financial services, but also address internal requirements for e-mail monitoring.

Open Text is offering the new features as part of Livelink ECM—E-mail Monitoring, one of two solution sets the company offers for Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes.

"The risks of e-mail and its overwhelming volume are among the biggest concerns for our customers," says Mark Portu, vice president of compliance solutions at Open Text. "We're giving customers solutions they can apply to a broad range of requirements."
