King of Prussia, Pa.-based resilience training provider Adaptiv Learning Systems has launched free online access to its Resilience Factor Inventory Questionnaire, a tool used to measure employee resilience.
Questions assess seven factors Adaptiv says affect a person's resilience, including "emotional regulation;" "impulse control;" "causal analysis," or the ability to identify the causes of problems; "self-efficacy," or a person's sense of competence and mastery in the world; "realistic optimism," or an evidence-based belief that things can change for the better; "empathy;" and "reaching out," or the ability to seek out new opportunities, challenges and relationships.
